i wanna be in the next one. it's so fun to see a bunch of people's takes based off of the same musical piece!

I'll contact you about information on the next one, it'd be great to have you in on it.
Thanks for stopping by and writing a review.

better
much better than the first, but sadly very short. who would have ever thought tricky would kill joe?
i'm rooting for the clockcrew. I hope VGDC dies soon, as they hold no interesting battle value in this or in general.
i truly hope a clock yells something in the heat of the battle. i am expecting to hear war cries in there somewhere, i think that would liven stuff up.
plefff
sorry man, just didn't spark anything for me.
i am amazed anyone thinks the 3D in this is "awesome". with the proper instruction anyone could have acquired the 'skill' to make those models in 48 hours or less. the 3DSmax tutorial starts you by modelling fruits since they already have the basic shapes you essentially "click". i have worked with 3D for years and therefore i must base my review on what i know of 3D.
now unfortunately, that is weird. why do i have to shift my thoughts to another medium? this is flash we're supposed to be grading here, not "imported crappy renders". you were essentially doing 3D tweens, hooray.
to boot, you didn't have any original design backing this, and you had even borrowed a design of a design (ala sprites). so i can't say much for the thought process in this one.
it wasn't very thrilling to watch, either.
to sum it all up, "plefff". if you didn't pat yourself on the back so much, i'd probably keep this one to myself :)
In what way have I patted myself on the back?
I made a Newgrounds tribute movie, nothing more, nothing less. And I think at that I've succeeded. I have made no claims to the quality of this movie other than the pride I have in the fact that so many people are able to enjoy it.
Thanks for the feedback.
yip
was alright. the effort level was definately high, and that rules. but i can't really say as much for the entertainment value. I'm not looking for a reason to say anything negative, it just wasn't as fun of a show to watch as alot of other things out there for me. has nothing to do with the quality.
The thing that got me most was your voice. It honestly just does not fit with this. get more people other than yourself to take part in it. i was gonna say the only voice i didn't mind was of pissy, and it just so happens it was the only one you didn't do (that was male). sorry :)
wow. im honored that synj reviewed me. yes quality is what i concentrated the most on in this movie. although i have to say this 6 months of work has been a huge learning experience for me. i hate to break this to you but pissy's voice (actually the name is blackjack) is me. LOL! and racheal did the voices of the women. well except for the black women. :P that was me too. lol. neways thank you. u have encouraged me to work harder on the next episode. sorry it wasnt funny to your standards tho :-/
awesome.
nice work! reminds me of aeon flux or alexander quite a bit. i wonder if you have ever studied it before?
either way, i'm not saying it's a ripoff or anything. i found this to be quite unique and i was interested the whole way through. great concepts, ideas, and timing.
i'll be waiting for the next :D
the only thing i can knitpick is the line quality. even on high the lines look very jagged as if it was in low. not sure why that's happening but whatever, it's a small detail in the overall atmosphere.
well whaddaya know, the god of newgrounds himself was here...
never in my life have i heard these names before. ng told me such things existed...
as for the line quality, it was left unsmooth deliberately for the "rough" feel to the piece, and for it not to be too much in contrast to the previous "Aura".
yet, seeing this effect is seen more as unintended and "un-pro", i will restrain from it in the next installments...
alright.
it was alright. i can see why everyone accused you of rotoscoping. because the rest of the flick wasn't up to par with the single shot. very curious.
also, you claim to have animated it in poser. well, if you animated it in poser you would have to rotoscope the renders. how is it you did this in poser but did not rotoscope? hmm?
the other thing that gives away the fact that you are misleading people is the organics and other various extras. they are quite bluntly not animated well, or DRAWN well. you would think with so much animation experience you'd be able to draw them properly in the shots that don't look like they were taken from films.
somehow you can animate kungfu but you dont know how to make a leaf blow by more than 1 frame? hmmmmmmmm
just trying to pry it out of you - don't mind me :)
absolutely beautiful
this piece is seriously astounding. great animation, great designs, great story, great atmosphere, great compression, great custom music, great sound effects, great easter eggs. what else could you enjoy?
ps. replace great with beautiful.
So did you like it or not??
Hehehe, I know you found them all synj, thanks for letting me use your character as a hidden costume!
i try to answer everyone's messages but i just can't keep up - please know i love you all forever and ever and that you all are each part of the reason i do art. the tablet I use is a Wacom Intuos-3 6x8" and i use Flash MX. no platform questions please.
