The only other thing it reminds me of is the Super Mario Bros game where you jump around on each other to collect coins, kill enemies, dodge fireballs, and use the pow block to disrupt the other player.

i couldn't get they gametrailers video, but i saw you on xplay. the game looks really cool. love how multiplayer looks. btw, you look different then i expected!
