you guessed it! sometimes tom wants something, so he puts temp art in a file i am going to touch up.
at times i try to stay very true to his original mockups, and this is one of those times!

Its looking great, cant wait. You should have a CC day when it comes into stores, maybe a few days before, when you hand out CC themed stuff and ofc, CC in all it glory and awesomeness (is it even a word?).

music emil stopped including because of copyright issues. but we'll probably use some music from the game next time.

Dan Paladin- do you guys need help? Seriously, the way some of the staff talks about it, it sounds like you guys are a little overwhelmed with how long this is taking. I swear to god, I can help. Not like there aren't dozens of other artists on NG that could help as well, but I've seriously got your back if you need anyone to knock out some game art. i wouldn't hold my breath for that one :( i just had 3 years of helping develop a beat-em-up.. to go do another with tom anytime soon would probably be unrealistic.
we try to stay away from sequels in general. think of it kind of like this.. if we did alien hominid 2 there'd be no dad n me in existance!
as much as we like to do sequels we are always wanting to explore new ideas rather than stay in the same universe. it's a double edged sword.
I've been going over to the Castle Crashers Blog to watch these videos. It's pretty sweet that the new video embedding supports these.
I'm pretty damn pumped for this game. I think a ton of Xbox Live users will be surprised by this game when it finally hits. Judging by the over-world maps you guys have shown, it looks to be one of the biggest XBLA games I've seen.

it IS the biggest XBLA game! it takes a rather long time to go throughout the game. trying to go through and see what i want to polish is a very long, satisfying journey now.
